Evelyn Ruth English of Emporia died on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the Holiday Resort Care Center, Emporia. She was 92.
Evelyn was born on March 6, 1928 in Livingston County, Missouri the daughter of Ralph Bishop and Mable Riddle Aye. She married John N. Jensen and he died on April 24, 1963. She then married Arnold Kuhlmann and they divorced. Evelyn then married Charles English on October 26, 1979 in Emporia. He died on August 2, 2002 in Council Grove, Kansas.
Surviving family members include: sons, David E. Jensen of Emporia, John Wayne Jensen of Allen, and Daniel Kuhlmann of Ottawa; brothers, Phillip Aye of Allen, and Delbert Aye of Tonganoxie; sisters, Judy Giddings of Seattle, Washington; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, sister Vera Clatterbuck, brothers, Ralph Aye, Elvin Aye, Neil Aye, and Sylbert Aye.
Evelyn was a homemaker.
Cremation has taken place with a private service at a later date.
