Evelyn Rose Powell, 82, of Osage City, Kansas, died on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.
  
  
  Evelyn was born on July 8, 1931 in Plymouth, Kansas, the daughter of Barney Oscar and Martha Reber Lehnherr. She married Perry Walter Powell on April 4, 1950 in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas. He died on December 12, 2003 in Topeka, Kansas.
  
  
  She is survived by two sons, Perry M. Powell of McKinney, Texas, and Mike J. Powell of Osage City, Kansas; daughters, Lori L. Hill of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Julie M. Powell of Osage City; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-three reat-grandchildren.
  
  
  She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Franklin D. Lehnherr, and Bud Lehnherr; and two sisters, Ida “Tooie” Jones, and Ruth Noller.
  
  
  Evelyn was a homemaker. She was a Methodist and belonged to a China Painting Club.

   M., Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Hillside Cemetery, Toledo, Kansas.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions instead, to be designed later, and sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
