Lifetime Emporia resident Floyd E. Williams passed away Wednesday, June 1, at his home at the age of 82.
Floyd E. Williams was born in Red Top, Missouri on May 23, 1934, the son of Clyde and Lucile (Gilbert) Williams. He is survived by his four sons and one daughter, two sisters, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Williams was a machinist at Modine Manufacturing for 22 years and had been retired 20 years.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 6 at 10:00 AM at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. The service will be conducted by Joseph Dobson. A private family burial service will follow at the Haworth Cemetery, southwest of Emporia.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. After that the casket will be closed.
Informal dress is requested.
