Franz Rockford Donelson, 45, of Emporia died on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Flint Hills Care Center in Emporia.
Franz was born on November 1, 1967 in Emporia, the son of Marvin Dean and Nancy Walkup Donelson. Survivors include his parents of Americus; a sister, Rachel Donelson Nichols and husband Shane; and two nephews, Noah and Nathan Nichols.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Vina Brown Walkup, and Rev Henry and Martha Frevert Donelson.
Franz was a lifetime glassblower, and worked with Hal Berger.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2013 at The Patio Garden of Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia. Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
