Gary Lee Fuller, son of Kent Madison and Dorothy Stevens, was born March 28, 1956, in Nebraska, and departed this life March 6, 2025, at his home in Americus, Kansas, at the age of 68 years.
Gary graduated from The Dwight D. Eisenhower Junior High School in Topeka, Kansas in 1971. He was a jack of all trades and a master of a few too, most of his education was hands-on, trial and error at the school of hard knocks. He held various titles and careers over his working life, including over the road truck driver, foreman at the Landfill for the City of Emporia, and supervisor of the setting of modular homes- he often grew restless of the day-to-day routine of a regular 9-5, and would go back to driving truck because he craved the open road. He drove for several companies including Red Line, P and D Curtis, and Norfolk Iron and Metal.
Gary was active in the motorcycle community and was a member of Fire and Iron and ABATE of KS district 12. He enjoyed rebuilding, custom painting, fabricating- pretty much anything to do with motorcycles. Many of his custom motorcycle paint jobs were featured in magazines like Easy Rider. He had several show bikes he would enter competitions with- and had so many trophies to showcase his talents. Gary loved Nascar racing- especially Dale Earnhardt, Days of Our Lives, old Western movies, and spending time with his family.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Angela Fuller of Laquey, MO; his son Tony Fuller and his wife Chelsea of Olpe, KS; their sister Nicole Janzen of Emporia, KS; the mother of his children Debi Fuller of Olpe, KS; his grandchildren Bexley Fuller, Cyrus Langdon, Eiken Fuller, and Maverick Langdon; his brothers Steve Fuller of NV, Jason Madison of NV, as well as 8 other siblings.
He was preceded in death by his father Kent Madison, mother Dorothy Fuller, Grandmother Elizabeth Stevens, Grandfather George Stevens, and brother Dennis Fuller.
Cremation is planned with a Memorial Service from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Harry & Lloyd's in Americus.
