Gary Thomas Robertson of Emporia passed away on Tuesday July 16, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas. He was 52.
Gary was born on February 25, 1972, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The son of Junius Heggwood and Lucille Bazille Robertson.
Gary graduated from McKinley High School in 1990. He then served in the U.S. Army for four years as an Armor Crewman. Until the time of his sickness Gary worked at Simmons. Surviving family members include his son Koby Robertson whom he loved dearly and stepdaughter Idely Delgado.
He is survived of four brothers Charles, Ricky, Jeffery of Baton Rouge Louisiana and Gerard Robertson of Hinesville Georgia as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his parents and brother John Robertson and Sister Jennifer Ann Robins.
Funeral services will be at 6:00p.m., Monday July 22, 2024, at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia. Military honors will be provided by the Ft. Riley Honor Detail Unit. Cremation will follow the service.
