Gene R. Foxen, 52, of Emporia, Kansas, died on April 23, 2012 at his home in Emporia.
Gene was born on March 30, 1960 in Osage, Iowa, the son of Leo and Mary Jane Thome Foxen. He married Shannon D. Dycus on August 4, 2005 in Big Springs, Kansas. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include: mother, Mary Jane Foxen of Osage, Iowa; sons, Cody Allen Foxen of Emporia, and William Vincent Johnson of Fairview, Oklahoma; sisters, Ann Maas of Kasson, Minnesota, Jane Foxen of Des Moines, Iowa, Joan Butterfield of Charles City, Iowa, and Lisa Foxen of Mantorville, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Foxen.
Gene was a machinist at Vektek in Emporia for over twenty years.
