Georgia Marcile Massey, 74, of Allen, Kansas, died Saturday, November 2, 2013 at her home.
  
  
  Georgia was born November 2, 1939 in Greensburg, Kansas, the daughter of Henry William and Georgia May (Stewart) Todd. She married Larry G. Melton on May 18, 1954 in Greensburg, Kansas, and they later divorced. On August 10, 1990 she married Jess W. Massey in Miami, Oklahoma. He survives of the home.
  
  
  Other survivors include: daughter, Donna Kay Melton-Herring and husband Lyle of Bennington, Kansas; stepsons, Jason Massey and Jermey Massey both of Kansas City, Missouri; brothers, Henry Dale Todd of Allen, Kansas and Arthur Jean Todd of Greensburg, Kansas; grandchildren, Kiley Herring of Salina, Kansas, Casey Herring of Tesscott, Kansas, Joshua Massey, Jace Massey, Jaxson Massey and Jessa Massey all of Kansas City, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
  
  
  She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Billie Jean Todd; and a sister, Shierla Leann Fark.
  
  
  Georgia was retired, and had spent her years working as a waitress. She was a hard working farm woman. Georgia enjoyed attending her granddaughters’ various events, gardening and traveling.
  
  
  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia, Kansas. Pastor Charity Sandstrom of the First Friends Church in Emporia will be officiating.
