Geraldine “Gerry” Hagemann, 80, Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Saint Francis Via Christi Hospital, Wichita, Kansas,

Gerry Johnson was born in Paola, Kansas on July 14, 1943, the daughter of Otis and Tropha (Burris) Johnson. She married James A. Hagemann in Olpe, Kansas on June 22, 1963. He survives and lives in Wichita, KS.  She is also survived by son; Greg (Melinda) Hagemann, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Sister; Patti Taylor, Lawrence, Kansas, Grandchildren; Hannah Hageman and Casandra Case.  She was preceded in death by a daughter; Holly Hagemann, son; Jeffrey Hagemann, and sister; Carol Worsham.

Mrs. Hagemann worked in the banking profession in the Midwest, retiring from Bank of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2001.  She was a member of the Cosmopolitan Club and was a volunteer for the Children’s Miracle Network.

She had a love of life, her family, immensely enjoyed time with dear friends who were like family, travel, seeing new things, and was devoted to her dogs.

Funeral services will be held at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia, Kansas on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 1:30 P.M.  The family will receive friends following the service until 2:30 P.M. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery,
