Geraldine L. Riddle, 77, of Emporia, Kansas, died on September 28, 2012 at the Rossville Heath Center in Rossville, Kansas.
Geraldine was born on December 24, 1934 in Emporia, the daughter of Samuel B. and Bertha Ellen Sill Riddle. She never married.
She is survived by: sisters, Carol L. Willey of Silver Lake, Kansas, and Barbara Ellen Thomas of, Bellevue, Washington; nephew, Craig Thomas of Appleton, Wisconsin; nieces, Chris Linden of Emporia, Dawn Ramsey of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Laine Beal of Topeka, Kansas, and Jan St. Clair of Lodi, California; and many great-nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and a nephew, Jeffery Thomas.
For many years, she was a bookkeeper at Citizens National Bank, which is currently Bank of America, where she later retired from. Geraldine enjoyed baking bread as well as sewing.
Funeral services are planned for 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia. Burial will follow at Chicago Mound Cemetery, Emporia. A visitation will be on Tuesday evening, October 2, 2012 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
