Glenda Lee Medlen

Glenda Lee Medlen, 57, of Emporia, Kansas, died Friday, April 20, 2012 at her home. Cremation is planned, with no service scheduled at this time.

Glenda Lee Belt was born March 16, 1955 in Emporia, the daughter of Glenn and Bonnie (Cole) Belt. She married William J. Medlen on June 19, 1973 in Emporia. He died February 21, 2011 at their home in Emporia.

She is survived by: parents, Glenn and Bonnie Belt of Emporia; son, Nathan A. Medlen of Ellsworth, Kansas; three daughters, Brandy L. Solis, Amy D. Martinez and Ashley A. Medlen all of Emporia; a brother, Mike E. Belt of Wichita, Kansas; two sisters, Bonita S. Kratzberg and Sandra K. Short, both of Emporia; five grandchildren, Gage A. Medlen of Branson, Missouri, Sienna K. Patel, Jordan W. Solis, Tiana L. Martinez, and Tessa M. Martinez, all of Emporia.

Glenda was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Emporia High School, and an avid Clint Bowyer and Kansas City Chiefs fan.
