Grace Velma Bayne, 98, of Emporia died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Holiday Resort, Emporia.
Grace was born on March 24, 1917 in Harrisonville, Missouri, the daughter of Warda B. and Hulda Louise Richard Dunkin. When she was two years old, she moved with her family to a farm north of Emporia where she grew up.
She married Fred Brown in November of 1934 in Emporia and they later divorced. Grace then married Roland Bayne on March 13, 1964 in Sedan, Kansas. They moved to Indianola, Iowa and then back to Kansas in December of 1973. Roland was very loving and made their life together quite special.
She is survived by numerous caring friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Phillip Brown.
