Harold Lloyd Stuttle 79, of rural Olpe, Kansas, died Friday, October 10, 2014 at University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City.
Harold Lloyd Stuttle, the son of Harold Loyson and Hilda E. Joregenson Stuttle, was born May 10, 1935 on the family farm west of Olpe.
He is survived by his sister, Gladys E. Toso, Emporia; his longtime companion, Marie Moore, Emporia; a niece, Diane Larson of Fargo, North Dakota; a nephew, Dale Toso of Reading, Kansas; and a cousin, Robert Allen of Topeka, Kansas.
Harold worked at Bunge Corporation, Emporia Coffee Company, was a former co-owner of Mit-Way Billiards, and had retired from Lyon County Road and Bridge after 22 years. He also ran the family farm near Olpe.
As he requested, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia. Casual dress is requested for this visitation.
Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, west of Olpe, at a later date. Memorial Contributions to the Olpe Fire Department may be sent in care of the funeral home.
