Ida Jane Lehnherr Cole, 47, of Dunlap, Kansas, died on September 2, 2011 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.
Ida Jane was born on November 6, 1963 in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Franklin Dee and Rebecca (Zinn) Lehnherr. She married Jake Cole on April 30, 2006 in Council Grove, Kansas. He survives.
Other survivors include: mother, Rebecca Lehnherr of Emporia; four sons and one stepson; two daughters; three grandchildren; brothers, Brad, Bud, and Brian Lehnherr all of Emporia; and a sister, Brenda Love of Neosho Rapids, Kansas.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Ida Jane worked at Pizza Hut, and Subway. Before that she was a security guard at IBP. She also owned and operated Tackle Box Bait Shop in Emporia. She was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Council Grove, Kansas. Ida Jane loved to cook, fish, and build fishing poles. She loved children, and was very creative.
