Ila Wilson, 85, of Emporia died on Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Oak Creek Senior Living Center in Topeka.
Ila was born on April 21, 1931 in Toronto, Kansas the daughter of William F, Sr. and Susan M. Smith McJunkin. She married Waldo Jack Wilson on November 13, 1949 in Toronto, Kansas. He died on May 12, 2003 in Emporia.
Surviving family members include: Sons, James Wilson of Emporia, Stanley Wilson and wife Claudia of Topeka, and Steven Wilson and wife Kathleen of Wellsville; daughter, Tanya Wilson of Topeka; sisters, Lyla Jean McCoy of Emporia, and Rheta Peters of Pittsburg, Kansas, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and five brothers, and one granddaughter.
Ila was a Secretary for Ek Real Estate for 34 years.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Patio Garden, Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia.
