James Lee Bahm, Shawnee, Kansas, died Monday, March 20, 2017 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center at the age of 60.
James was born May 8, 1956 in Enid, Oklahoma, the son of Gerald and Iva Drucilla (Christian) Bahm. He married Sue Gilligan Gfeller September 12, 1987.
Surviving James are his wife, of the home, Daughter; Tina Gfeller, Overland Park, Kansas, his mother; Drucilla Bahm, Enid, Oklahoma, Sister; Charlita Harmon, Enid, Oklahoma, as well as several extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father.
James retired as an Engineer for BNSF Railroad after over 30 years of service. He was a member of the United Transportation Union (Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers). He enjoyed fishing, OU football, and traveling.
Family and friends will gather for a celebration of his life at the Granada Theater in Emporia on April 1, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 P.M. Cremation is planned.
