James L. "Jimmy" Neufeld

James L. “Jimmy” Neufeld, 86, Wichita, passed away at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas on Monday, September 28, 2020.

Jimmy was born at Yates Center, Kansas on March 18, 1934, the son of Louis Ernest and Ola Gertrude (Sager) Neufeld. He is survived by his daughters; Victoria L. (Michael) Whitworth, Wichita, KS, Shannon L.  (Daniel Seballoz), Wichita, KS, brother; Donald L. Neufeld, Branson, MO, sister; Barbara (Ronnie) Pringle, Olpe, KS, grandchildren;  Sean C (Sheena) Craig, Seth L. (Laurel) Craig, Aaron K. DeRee, and Gabriel K. DeRee, great-grandchildren; Noah S. Craig, Ezra J. Craig, Zoe J. Craig, and Adam S. Craig.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a son; Richard D. Neufeld, who died September 18, 1988.

Jimmy was a machinist at Boeing, Wichita for over 40 years, retiring in 1995.  He was a member of the East Heights United Methodist Church, Wichita, the Boeing Machinists Union, and enjoyed square dancing and camping.

A graveside service will be conducted at the Hillside Cemetery, Toledo, on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 3:00 P.M.
