James A. Looper, 66, passed away at his home in Emporia, Kansas on Wednesday, July 8, 2015.
James Allen Looper was born at Blackwell, Oklahoma on January 3, 1949, the son of Clifton Earl and Opal Lilly (Casey) Looper. He and Marcia Mouse were married in Emporia on December 29, 1973. She survives.
Besides his wife, Mr. Looper is also survived by his daughter, Jamie Threlkeld of Saint Louis, Missouri; sons, Ryan Looper, Gilbert, Arizona, and Evan Looper, Colorado Springs, Colorado; a brother, Bill Looper, Pryor, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kyle Coday, Lauren Archibald, and Aiva Looper; and great-grandchildren, Paxton Coday and McKinley Coday.
Mr. Looper was a Vice President of Information Technology with MCI Telecommunications.
Cremation is planned. No services will be held at this time.
The memorial is with the Parkinson Disease Foundation. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home.
