Jana Sue Williamson of Emporia, died on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at her home. She was 86.
Jana was born on October 17, 1938, in Sterling, Kansas as the daughter of Marion and Juanita Haen Welch. She married Kent E. Williamson on June 8, 1958, in St. John, Kansas. He died on April 23, 2020, in Emporia.
She is survived by her daughters Keva (Robert) Scheib of Emporia, Kim (Tim) Romero of Brighton, Colorado, and Kala (Vance) Sprecher of Casper, Wyoming; grandchildren, Kelsey and Alex Gray of Cypress, Texas, Luke Clifton of Cypress, Texas, Brooke and Jeremiah Bouthillier of Olpe, Jessica and Jerrod Schumann of Emporia, Hunter and Misti Scheib of Owasso, Oklahoma, Stephanie Sprecher and Paul Jeantete of Casper, Wyoming, Meghan Ferguson of Casper, Wyoming, and Kate Sprecher of Casper, Wyoming; eleven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandchild, and two great-grandchildren, as well as a brother and sister.
Jana was a Secretary and Office Manager.
Cremation is planned with a graveside service in the Summer of 2025 at the Fairview Park Cemetery in St. John, Kansas. Memorial contributions to Hand in Hand Hospice can be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
