JaNell Dee Henery Leiszler, 65, Emporia, Kansas, died at Midland Care Hospice House, Topeka, Kansas on Tuesday, June 3, 2014.
JaNell Dee Henery was born March 25, 1949 at Norfolk, Nebraska, the daughter of Earl and Alice (Trube) Henery. She married Richard Leiszler at Emporia; he survives.
Surviving family members include her husband; son, Jacob Leiszler, Emporia; brothers, Rod Henery and his wife, Sandie, Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, and Guy Henery and his wife, Mary, Omaha, Nebraska; and sister, Delpha Albus and her husband, Nick, Lexington, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and nephews, Chad and Seth Henery, and a sister-in-law, Kate Henery.
Mrs. Leiszler was employed as a bartender at the club room of Lowry-Funston Post #1980, VFW, and at Just One More, and had worked at several area clubs and bars.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, June 6, 2014 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia. Pastor Andrew McHenry, First Congregational Church, will conduct the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia.
