Jennifer Lynn Bechtel, 21, rural Olpe, Kansas, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in a one-vehicle accident south of Hartford, Kansas.
Jennifer was born at Emporia, Kansas on December 20, 1993, the daughter of Jim and Valarie (Norton) Bechtel, who survive. She is also survived by her grandmother, Dorothy Norton, Springfield, Colorado; aunts and uncles, Mildred and Phil Norton, Robin and Steven Bechtel, Janice and Todd Ericson; cousins, Chrissy and Trevor Norton, Koren and Anthony Newman, Richard and Preston Bechtel, and Chelsea and Shayla Lowery and families.
She was a graduate of Olpe High School, and received her Associate Degree in Quality Control from Spartan Aeronautical and Technical College, Tulsa, Oklahoma. She had worked as a Quality Assurance Inspector for Turnco in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Jennifer was a member of Crossfit Complete West, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Funeral Services will be held in the new gym of Olpe High School, Olpe, Kansas, on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 1:00 PM. The service will be conducted by Pastor Bob Robison, First Christian Church, Madison, Kansas. Interment will follow in Maydale Cemetery, southeast of Olpe.
The family will receive friends at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia, Friday evening, April 17, 2015 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.
The family requests no flowers. Memorial contributions to Crossfit Complete West (Oklahoma City) may be sent in care of the funeral home.
