Jimmie Lee Badgett, Emporia, Kansas, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at Newman Regional Health, Emporia, at the age of 66. He was a retired truck driver and dispatcher.
Cremation is planned with a private family observance to be held at a later date. Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Jimmie Lee Badgett was born in Longmont, Colorado on October 8, 1953, the son of J. T. and Alice (Mize) Badgett. He married Sandy Mast, and they later divorced.
Surviving family members include his daughter; Ashleigh Beaver (Jeremy Dorr), Emporia, sons; Logan Badgett, Emporia, KS and R. J. Badgett, Sacramento, California, grandchildren; Taytum, Cerissa, and Skye Beaver. His parents, a brother, Rodney, and sister, Deanna, died earlier.
