JoAnna Lee Posey, 17, a Northern Heights High School Senior, was killed Wednesday, September 8, 2010 in an auto accident north of Americus.
JoAnna Lee Posey, the daughter of Camden David and Tracy Diane (McKee) Posey, was born July 15, 1993 in Clinton, Missouri. She attended Northern Heights High School and worked at the Emporia Wendy’s.
She is survived by her parents Camden and Tracy Posey of Americus; two brothers, Joshua David Posey, and Jacob Blain Posey both of the home; one sister, Cami Diane Posey of Emporia; grandparents, Jerry and Sherryl McKee of Emporia, and Linda Posey of Shawnee, Kansas; one niece, Jamee Sue Posey of Emporia.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Harold David Posey, and one Uncle, Kelly McKee.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Bethel Baptist Church at 2 P.M. conducted by Rev. Joe Tuttle. The family will greet friends Monday, September 13, 2010 from 7 to 8 P.M. at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Americus Cemetery.
