John David Miller of Emporia died on May 12, 2020 at his home in Emporia. He was 80.
John was born on October 15, 1939 in Emporia, Kansas the son of Jessie and Mary Catherine Beyer Miller.
He is survived by: daughter, Shannan Lynn Miller of East Wenatchee, Washington; son, David (Colleen) Leigh Miller East Wenatchee, Washington; grandsons, Owen Marshall Miller, Eli Matthew Miller all of East Wenatchee, Washington.
Proceeded in death by his mother Mary Catherine "Katie" Miller.
John worked for the USD #253 as school bus driver and maintenance. His loves were spending time with his family and friends, morning breakfast at Braums with his buddies the NATO group, watching construction sites, airport take off and landings of planes and helicopters, watching cooking shows, and taking naps during NASCAR races on TV.
Small family gathering was held on May 20th where his ashes were spread on his childhood farm property in Saffordville, KS
