Judith Anne “Judy” Satterfield (74), Emporia, Kansas, died Friday, May 23, 2014 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas.
Judith Anne Baker, the daughter of Carl Albert and Iva Irene Frisby Baker, was born January 2, 1940 in Liberal, Kansas.
Surviving members of the family include: one son, Brad Hackerott of the Kansas City area; two daughters, Tami Tipton of Emporia and Cyndi Hackerott of Chicago, Illinois; a brother, Gary Baker of Hugoton; two sisters, Janice Sim of Leawood, Kansas, and Jane Doyal of Norman, Oklahoma; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Steven Howard Brecheisen, and one daughter, Debra L. Bernal.
Judy was a secretary and a caterer.
Cremation is planned.
A memorial service will be held at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Pastor Kenneth Armstrong of West Side Baptist Church will be officiating. Her ashes will be scattered on the family plot in Sublette Cemetery at a later date.
