Judy Elaine Lill, 75 of Emporia, Kansas died Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Newman Regional Health in Emporia.
Judy was born September 25, 1941 in Manhattan, Kansas the daughter of Charles and Esther (Lloyd) Tull. She received her Associates Degree from Kansas State University and worked for 35 years as an Administrative Assistant in the Physical Education Department at Emporia State University. Judy was a member of the First Congregational Church in Emporia, Gamma Phi Beta, and the Emporia Quilting Club. She loved spending time with family, friends, camping, and listening to bluegrass music.
Judy married Don Lill on June 18, 1961 in Manhattan, Kansas. He survives of the home. Other survivors include: sons David Lill of Wichita, Kansas, Michael Lill and wife Stefanie of Augusta, Kansas, Stephen Lill and wife Suzanne of Clearwater, Kansas, brother Richard Tull and wife Ellen of Granite Shoals, Texas, grandchildren Ashley Lill-Fulk, Erica Lill, Rebekah Lill, Emmalee Lill, Gregory Lill, Benjamin Lill, Cody Lill, Corbin Lill, Carlee Lill, great grandchildren Kaiden Fulk, Kinsley Fulk, Kashtin Fulk, and Kingstin Fulk. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary Tull.
Judy has donated her body to the University of Kansas Medical Center. A Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday September 23, 2017 at the First Congregational Church in Emporia. Pastor Linda Bayless-Skeen of Leavenworth, Kansas will be officiating.
