Julie A. Brammell

Julie A. Brammell, 62, Emporia, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at the Flint Hills Care Center, Emporia.

Julie A Benjamin was born in Wichita, Kansas in the car on May 22, 1964, the daughter of Roy and Charlotte (Sweeten) Benjamin. Julie married Jeff Tosh on August 24, 1985, they later divorced. On March 19, 2015 Julie married Howard Brammell, Jr. in Emporia, Howard passed away on May 30, 2020. She is survived by daughters; Kim (Jimmy) Pineda, Kayla (Joe) Glenn, Brandi (Issac Rangel) Tosh, Brenda Tosh, and Krystle Fessler. Sisters; Sandy (David) Fernandez, and Christina Lieurance, grandchildren; Shiann and Alia Glenn, Jace Tosh, Christopher Pineda, Milo Rangel, Madden Tosh, Mariana Rangel, Matthias Rangel, Amelia Mendez, and Tanner and MaKena Fessler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, parents and grandparents, and Richard “Tex” Benjamin.

She loved collecting dolphins, spending time outdoors, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Cremation is planned. Private family services will be held at a later date. Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
