Julie Dale Moon

Julie Dale Moon passed on Monday February 24, 2025 at Eskridge Care and Rehab in Eskridge Kansas at the age of 60.

Julie was born on September 25, 1964 in Hugoton Kansas to Charlene Pennington (Creamer). She Married Kevin Howard Moon in August 1984 in Dodge City, Kansas. He later passed away in 2021.

She was a devoted mother, and is survived by her three daughters, Airen Moon, Haley Navarrete, and Carly Moon. Grandchildren Gaven Moon, Emmly Moon, Rader Navarrete, Myah Navarrete, and Ivy Moon. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Sugar.

She is preceded in death by her mother Charlene Pennington, along with her grandparents, Charles "Melvin" and Pauline Creamer, and her siblings, Jamey Garner, Janell Garner and Jon Garner.

She loved children and after receiving her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Oklahoma Panhandle State University, she was an Elementary School Teacher for 17 years. She loved teaching, emphasizing early reading. She had a strong belief in her Christian faith and attended the Assembly of God in Hugoton, Kansas. She loved music, and was a talented pianist and vocalist. She passed this passion for music on to her daughters and her grandchildren, along with her deep love of animals.

Cremation is Planned with a small service on March 22, at 10:30 AM, at the Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton KS.
