Karen S. Todd of Emporia died on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at her home. She was 57.
Karen was born on February 2, 1961 in Gallup, New Mexico the daughter of Don and Evelyn Sweeney Bunch. She married Joseph Todd on December 23, 1995 in Bullhead City, Arizona. He survives at the home.
Surviving family members include: husband, Joseph Todd of Emporia; sons, Chris Todd of Garden City, Kansas, and Bill Todd of Bryan, Texas; daughters, Patricia Urschel of Emporia, Sharon Smith of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Brandy Mason of Emporia; sister, Kathi Fuller of Canyon City, Colorado; fifteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Kevin Wood.
Karen worked as a cashier at various places in Emporia. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and volunteering at several animal rescues in Emporia.
Cremation is planned with a visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia. Memorial Contributions to the Emporia Animal Shelter can be sent in care of the funeral home.
