Kathleen Listrom, 87, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 9, 2012.
She was born on January 19, 1925 in Emporia, Kansas, to the late Roy and Mary Cannon. In July of 1944, she married Darrell W. Stiffler who preceded her in death in 1986. She later married Myron Listrom.
Kathleen was loved by everyone who knew her. She spread joy and encouragement wherever she went. Her favorite activities included dancing, playing bridge, and fishing with her sweetheart, Myron. She was happiest when surrounded by family and enjoying her precious grandchildren. Kathleen retired in 1991 from the supreme court of Oklahoma, where she worked as Executive Secretary to the Supreme Court Justices.
She is survived by her husband, Myron L. Listrom; daughter, Janet Stiffler Wilcox; two sons, Eric J.Stiffler (Marilyn) and Daniel L. Stiffler (Kim); one stepdaughter, Linda L. Listrom; one stepson, Randy K. Listrom; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; and a host of wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, November 16, 2012 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia, with Pastor Bob Colerick officiating.
