Kathleen Janice Stinson

Kathleen “Jan” Stinson, 73, a longtime resident of Emporia, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Vintage Park Assisted Living Center, Lenexa, KS .

Kathleen Janice Stinson was born in Perryton, Texas on March 29,1946, the daughter of Loris V. (Sr.) and Norma (Brown) Gilbert.

Jan is survived by her daughter; Tracey Richardson, and her husband, Sean, Shawnee, Kansas, father; Loris V. Gilbert, Sr, Emporia, Kansas, brother; Loris V. Gilbert, Jr. and his wife, Sheila, Neosho Rapids, Kansas, and grandchildren; Grey, Kyler, and Channing Richardson.

She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Emporia.

A graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Neosho Rapids, Kansas on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 1:30 P.M.  The service will be conducted by Pastor Norbert Tegtmeier, Messiah Lutheran Church
