Kenneth William Tucker

Kenneth William Tucker of Olpe, Kansas died on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at his home.  He was 75.

Kenneth was born on December 19, 1947, in East St. Louis, Illinois the son of William Dapp and Flora Mae Willett Tucker.  He married Leslie L. Wagle on January 18, 1985, in Olathe, Kansas.  She survives.

Surviving family members include his wife Leslie L. Tucker; daughters, Blair Joyce of Adrian, Missouri, and Michelle Chadwick of Jacksonville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Daniel Tucker, William Joyce, Sarah Cordero-Chadwick, Emily Chadwick, Rachel Chadwick Boyce, Rebecca Chadwick, Sean Chadwick and Nicholas Tucker; great-grandchildren, Rose Boyce, Giselle Boyce, and Jameson Chadwick.

He is preceded in death by parents, son Kenneth William Tucker, Jr. and sisters Barbara Davenport and Diane Schwinn.

Kenneth served and retired from the United State Marine Corp. and then served on the Kansas Highway Patrol before retiring.  He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Emporia.

Cremation is planned with Military and Kansas Highway Patrol honors at the South Lyon County All Veterans Memorial in Olpe at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 22, 2023.   Memorial contributions to the Cornerstone Baptist Church can be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O.
