Kennith Edward Presley

Kennith E. Presley, 76, of Hartford died Saturday, July 27, 2019 at his home. His graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July31, 2019 in Hartford Cemetery. The service will be conducted by his grandson, Straton Michelle. The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday, July 30, at Roberts-Blue-Barnett. Donations to Hetlinger Developmental Services may be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett. Military Honors will be conducted by Ball-McColm Post #5, American Legion and Lowry-Funston Post #1980 Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Kennith Edward Presley the son of A.P. and Beulah Lee Copeland Presley was born July 2, 1943 in Rickman, TN. He married Brenda S. Maxwell on August 22, 1966 in Horton. She preceded him in death on November 15, 1989.

Kennith work on the cooler side of IBP for many years, where he was known as “Turkey” by his friends. He also served in the Army as a Ranger during the Viet Nam War.

He is survived by three daughters, Diana Hart of Emporia and Kenda Beard and Karma Michell both of Hartford; three brothers, Ron Presley of Madison, Joe Presley of Gridley and Jim Presley of Warrensburg, Mo; a sister Betty Reeves of New Strawn; six grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, and Jeremy Hart, Hannah and Levi Beard and Straton Michelle; and four great-grandchildren, David, Harry II, James and Madelyn Hart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a brother, Charles Presley.
