Kimbra Lea (Borsdorf) Kahle, 54, of Eureka, Kansas, died April 6, 2015 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
Kimbra Lea was born April 15, 1960 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Jay Clifford and Judith Jane (Bruce) Borsdorf. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children and reading and writing poetry.
Kimbra is survived by her parents, Clifford and Judith Borsdorf of Burlingame, Kansas; a son, Adam Purvis of Kansas City, Missouri; a daughter, Olivia Borsdorf of Emporia; a brother, Tim Borsdorf of Burlingame, Kansas; a sister, Tammy Dudzik of Wamego, Kansas; and a granddaughter to be born in August.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley Borsdorf.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 10, 2015 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia. Pastor Gary Cargill of the First Baptist Church in Madison, Kansas will officiate. Interment will be in Wilmington Cemetery, south of Harveyville, Kansas.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the funeral home.
