Larry Dale Erwin, 71, of El Dorado, Kansas died February 2, 2012 at his home.
Larry Dale Erwin was born October 26, 1940 at Moline, Kansas the son of Dale & Anna (Lawless) Erwin. Larry spent 40 years working as a foreman and heavy equipment operator. He married Lula June Farris on January 12, 1959 in El Dorado, Kansas. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include: son, Larry Paul Erwin of Emporia; daughters, Tina Erwin of Emporia, Evelyn Fieser of El Dorado, and Angela Tovar of Emporia; brother, Ernie Erwin of Emporia; sister, Phyllis Anderson of El Dorado; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joyce Chadwick; and two great-grandsons, Adrian Gonzalez and Kolten Erwin.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia. Chaplain Sharlene Micelli of Asera Care Hospice, El Dorado, will be officiating. Inurnment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Moline, Kansas at a later date.
