Larry Shook

Larry Shook, 76, Olpe, Kansas, passed away at Newman Regional Health, Emporia, on Thursday, June 17, 2026.

Larry was born May 8, 1950 in Emporia, Kansas, the son of Glen and Darlene (Johnson) Shook. He is survived by daughters, including Shayla Sublette of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and several grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends and family. He was preceded in death by his sister; Linda Graham.

He was an entrepreneur and welder in Kansas and Oklahoma. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of Ball-McColm Post #5, American Legion in Emporia.

Cremation is planned with no services anticipated. Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia, Kansas, is in charge of arrangements.
