Leland M. Barber, 81, Americus, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at the Select Specialty Hospital, Wichita, Kansas.
Leland Murrel Barber was born in Americus, Kansas on April 3, 1942, the son of Murrel A. and Marjorie L. (Bell) Barber. Surviving family include his two daughters; Jamie (Cal) Yingst, Americus, and Jackie (Mike) Gibb, Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, brother; Gary Barber, White City, Kansas, sisters; Sharon Pape, Tonganoxie, Kansas, and Shirley Peterson, Council Grove, Kansas, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife; Barba, daughter; Joni Givens, grandson; Lenny Brown and brother; Bill Barber.
He was a Business Phone System Designer of A T & T until his retirement.
Cremation is planned with no services at this time. Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia, is assisting with arrangements
