Leland Frank Fish

Leland F. Fish, 89 of Emporia died Monday, April 2, 2018 at Sandpiper Healthcare and Rehab Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Leland was born December 21, 1928 in Newton, Kansas the son of Cleland Frank and Lauretta Pearl (Koerner) Fish. He worked as a clerk for the Santa Fe Railroad for 42 years, retiring in 1990. Leland was a past President of NARVE and a member of Eagles Aerie #2587.

Leland married Arlyne V. Hilfiker on September 6, 1949 in Salem, Oregon. She died July 20, 2011 in Emporia. He is survived by a son Dennis F. Fish and wife Cheryle of Wichita, Kansas, daughter Laurene R. Allen and husband Frank of Emporia, 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Leland was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a son David A. Fish.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 9, 2018 at Roberts-Blue-
Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia. Pastor Eric Stone of the Country Acres Baptist Church in Wichita will be officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the funeral home.
