Lester Lloyd Edmunds

Lester Lloyd Edmunds, 85 of rural North Lyon County died at his home Friday, May 11, 2018.

Lester was born May 30, 1932 at the family farm north of Bushong, Kansas. He was the son of Edmund Miles and Ina (Courtney) Edmunds. Lester was a rancher and a farmer. He was a member of the Americus United Methodist Church, Flint Hills Antique Power Association, and Ag Heritage Park in Alta Vista.

Lester married Betty Catherine Fitch on October 28, 1956 in Bushong. She survives of the home. Other survivors include son Randy Edmunds and wife Linda of rural North Lyon County, daughters Teresa Schrock and husband Jerry of Emporia, Cindy Drennon and husband Dean of Linwood, Kansas, and he was very proud of his 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 7 siblings and a son Mark Allen Edmunds.

Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Flint Hills Antique Power Association, Ag Heritage Park, Highground Museum or Hand-In-Hand Hospice and sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
