Linda L. Cushing, 69 of Emporia, Kansas, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Newman Regional Health in Emporia.
Linda L. Huff was born January 18, 1942 at Stratton, Nebraska, the daughter of John & Virginia (Shank) Huff. Linda married Roy Cushing in Stratton, Nebraska, and they later divorced. She moved to Emporia, Kansas in 1989 and worked at CBCS Collections in Emporia for 20 years. She loved sports and spending time with her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by: sons, John Cushing of Emporia, Jeff Cushing and George Cushing, both of Americus, Kansas; sisters, Judy Pattison of Emporia, and Shirley Shaw of Madison, Nebraska; three grandchildren, Sabrina Cushing and Courtney Cushing, both of Osage City, Kansas, and Kevin Le of Fort Collins, Colorado.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, August 1, 2011 at Holiday Resort, Emporia.
