Linda L. Garrett, 78, Emporia, Kansas, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 at Flint Hills Care Center, Emporia.
Linda L. Lang was born June 20, 1945 at Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Franklin Leslie and Marie Ethel (Stallings) Lang. She married James D. Gordon on April 25, 1964 in the Rosedale Baptist Church, Kansas City, Kansas. They were later divorced. She is survived by daughters; Capucine Ferrell, Olpe, Kansas, and Lisa Bishop, Topeka, Kansas, Sister; Fran Godfrey, Mission, Kansas, Grandchildren; Allan Large and Curtis (Cheryl) Large, and Great-grandchildren; Ava, Brandon and Killian Large. She was preceded in death by her son; David Gordon.
She was employed by Price Chopper in Kansas City for 20 years and later Walmart in Emporia before her retirement.
Cremation is planned. Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia, Kansas, is assisting with arrangements.
