Lois F. Johnson, 85, of Emporia, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Newman Regional Health.
Lois Florine Galutia, the daughter of Maynard and Maud Taber Galutia was born November 24, 1931 in Miller. She married Glenn E. Johnson on June 22, 1952 in Miller.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn of Emporia; a son Robin Johnson of Emporia; a granddaughter, Jennifer (Tony) Hughes; great-grandsons, Jaevin and Camden Hughes all of El Dorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Jerry Johnson of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Lois was a homemaker. She graduated from Miller High School in 1949 and attended Kansas State Teachers College (now ESU), and was a former member of the First Christian Church.
Graveside services will be 1:30 P.M. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Rapp Cemetery (west of Osage City on Highway 56). Pastor David Webb of the First Christian Church in Emporia will officiate. Memorial donations to the charity of the donor’s choice may be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett.
