Louis R. Redeker, 79, Olpe, Kansas, died at Garden Terrace Care Center, Overland Park, Kansas on Friday, December 24, 2010.
Louis Redeker was born in Olpe, Kansas on October 20, 1931, the son of John and Theresa (Hagemann) Redeker. He married Patricia Stockton at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Emporia, Kansas on April 27, 1957. She died April 15, 2005.
Surviving family members include: daughter, Lynda Denson, Olpe, Kansas; son, James Redeker, Stillwell, Kansas; brother, Jerry Redeker, Olpe, Kansas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was a farmer, and had retired from Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company after working there 25 years.
Mr. Redeker was a member of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Olpe, and the Knights of Columbus.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Olpe, Kansas on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 10:00 AM. The Mass will be celebrated by Father Anthony Williams, of the church. Interment will be in the Saint Joseph Cemetery, Olpe.
The Rosary will be recited at the church in Olpe Tuesday evening at 7:00 P.M.
