Luis Josue Cervantes Magaña of Emporia, Kansas died on Monday, November 1, 2021 as results of a car accident in Kansas City. He was 22. Luis was born on October 21,1999 in Zacapu, Michoacan Mexico the son of Laurencio Cisneros Cervantes and Maria Luisa Magaña.
Surviving family members include: parents Laurencio Cervantes and Maira Luisa Magaña of Emporia; sisters Jocelyn Cervantes and Miranda Cervantes both of Emporia; grandmothers Ramona Tinoco Miranda of Mexico and Elvira Cisneros of Mexico.
He is proceeded in death by his grandfathers, Jose Luis Magaña and Jossue Cervantes Velazquez.
Luis started as a laborer and recently became a concrete finisher in Kansas City as a cement mason.
The rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 8, 2021 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Emporia with Mass of Christian burial following at 10:30 a.m., burial will follow at Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia, Kansas.
