Lusiano Alvarado was born in Council Grove, Kansas on October 26, 1932, and passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2023, at his home in Emporia surrounded by family. He was 90. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 24, 2023, at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home with Graveside services at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia. Memorial contributions to the Flint Hills Animal Advocates (FHAA) can be sent in the care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
