Lynette Yvonne Ramirez of Emporia passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Newman Regional Health in Emporia. She was 53.
Lynette was born on May 14, 1970, in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Larry and Patricia Thompson Ramirez.
Surviving family members include: husband, Roy Douglas Johnson of the home; father, Larry Ramirez and stepmother Mary Ramirez of Emporia, Kansas; son, Dalton Ray Burton of Emporia, Kansas; daughters, Sarah Nicolle Ramirez of El Dorado, Kansas and Cortney Anne Shepherd of Middletown, Ohio; brothers, Michael Ramirez of Surprise, Arizona, Rick Ramirez of Madison, Kansas, and Michael Garcia Emporia, Kansas; stepsons, Toby Johnson, Tyson Johnson, and Trevor Johnson; sisters, Lissa Howze of Salina, Kansas, Sharlotta Coker of Wichita, Kansas, Jonnita Ramirez-Carpenter of Emporia, Kansas, Jenny Highley, Americus, Kansas, and Amy Burris of Kansas City, Missouri; 6 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Burroughs & stepfather Gary Burroughs
Lynette was a homemaker. She was loved by so many but as specially as a daughter, Sister, Mom, and Grandma.
Cremation is planned with a Private Memorial Service later. Roberts-Blue-Barnett is handling the arrangements.
