Maria Esperanza Ramirez, the infant daughter of Francisco Ramirez and Laura Garza, died at the family home Wednesday morning November 10, 2010.
Maria was born at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri, on October 12, 2010.
Surviving family members include: her parents; brothers, Marco Garza, and Francisco Ramirez, Jr. of the home; sisters, Jaslyn and Silvia Ramirez, Wichita, KS; grandparents, Silvia and Carlos Ramirez, Plainview, Texas, and Jan Cisneros, Emporia, Kansas, and Alfredo Garza, Houston, Texas; great-grandparents, Ralph & Mary Schellhamer, Emporia, KS, and Antonia Solis, Weslaco, Texas.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Aaron Ramirez; uncles, Marco Antonio Garza, and Carlos Ramirez, III; and an aunt, Sonia DeLeon
A service will be held at the Patio Garden of Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia, on Friday at 2:30 P.M. The service will be conducted by Father Richard Warsnak, Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Garden of the Angels in Memorial Lawn. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
