Marie B. Sippola, 93, of Emporia, Kansas, died August 31, 2015 at Emporia Presbyterian Manor.
Marie was born on March 10, 1922 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Theodore and Frances Bellamy. She married her loving husband, Sterling Edward Sippola, on March 10, 1946 in Syracuse, New York. He survives.
Other survivors include: son, Timothy Sippola of Emporia; daughters, Annie Omens of Rancho Santa Fe, California, and Pamm Callan of Altadena, California; as well as six grandchildren, Alison Omens of Washington, D.C., Amy Joy Omens of New York, New York, Christopher Callan of Culver City, California, Drew Callan Of Altadena, California, Devin Callan of Chico, California, and Kelli Sippola of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Her parents, and one brother, Theodore Bellamy, preceded her in death.
Marie served in the United States Navy during WWII and was a most devoted wife, mother, and homemaker thereafter.
Cremation has taken place, with a private service at a later date at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, California. Memorial contributions to The Good Samaritan Fund of Emporia Presbyterian Manor may be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
