Marijean Glover of Emporia died on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at her home in Emporia.  She was 78.

Marijean was born on January 15, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of George and Elaine Tanner Picard.  She married Robert "Bob" Glover on May 28, 1966, in Kansas City, Missouri.  He died on April 30, 2013, in Emporia.

She is survived by his son, Rob (Pam) Glover of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchildren, Ian Berg (Jenny) Augusta, Emily Abernathy (Alexx)  Barber, Dereck (Kennedi) Abernathy, Robbie (Jackie) Glover, Matthew Glover, Ashley (Javan) Glover; great-grandchildren, Kian Berg, Rex Berg, Bowe Berg, Opie Berg, Sadie Barber, Rilie Barber, Ariel Barber, Lex Barber, Joey Trinidad, and Levi Glover.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Jennifer Abernathy, and brother George Picard IV.

Marijean was a homemaker.  She enjoyed her card club at the Legends where she lived.

Cremation is planned with a Memorial Service at 10:30 am, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home with a visitation an hour prior to the service.  Memorial contributions to The June Bug Foundation or Angels Hospice can be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, PO Box 175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
