Marilyn Jean Hennes of Neosho Rapids, Kansas, died January 1, 2024. She was 79 years old.
Marilyn was born on May 1, 1944, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, the daughter of Merlyn Rutherford and Clara Maybel (Pittman) Baltz. She married Robert Leon Hennes in 1969 in Emporia, Kansas. He passed in 1995.
Other survivors include son Chad Hennes of Virginia; daughters Tammy Hennes of Clearwater, KS, Denise Herman of Emporia, KS, Traci (Bobby) Blevins of Virginia, and Charla Carroll; brother Sherman (Kristine) Rutherford of Kansas City, MO; sister Theresa (Dean) Teter of Circleville, KS; grandchildren Katrina Fronterhouse, Shayne Brown, Morgan McFarland, Jason Johnson Jr., Cody Dochow, Corey Hennes, Rocky Hennes, Casey Carroll and Heath Carroll; great-grandchildren Millie, Zanna, Payge, Russell Jr., Taytum, Henley, Harper, Henry, Jacks, Jace, Peyton, Karsyn and Janie.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, husband, and great grandchild Cayden.
Family will accept friends at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home Friday, January 12, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
